The Morelato furniture collection is the result of experience and passion, which have been handed on from one generation to the next: from the artisan workshop, where refined inlays were executed, to the qualified industrial production of international level of today.
From the artisan workshop...
The Morelato history is based on passion and mastery. At the highpoint of a hard-working apprenticeship in the production area, which arose in the second half of the twentieth in the South of Verona, Aldo Morelato founded his own workshop the “Casa Rossa” – the original headquarter and ideal inspiration place of the present company. Carrying on the technical procedures, which had never been changed over the centuries and using the same ancient tools that other master carpenters had used before him, Aldo Morelato imposed his refi ned artisan craft as an unquestioned reference for his complicated but successful production of “style” furniture. The production of style furniture, a typical activity of the area, was not only the simple re-production of the pieces but it required an attentive study of the original models, a long project phase, the selection of the best materials and the execution of what has to be called a work of art. These features are still the characteristics of the present Morelato Company.
