Carpentry a choice made out of love

At Palazzo Taidelli in Sanguinetto, the elegant showroom the Home Collection can be seen. It is the concrete expression of the most characterizing feature of the Morelato production; the so called classical-contemporary style. The classical lines; the Louis XV, Louis XVI, Louis Philip, Direttorio and Biedermeier style have been developed after a long study of the traditional styles, which over the years have become part of the taste of the people and are nowadays part of the memories of most of us, as a testimony of the warmth and hearty feeling that this furniture expresses.

The study of models from the past is the basis for a project aimed at a modernization of the lines and of their functionality, adapting them to the necessities of modern life through innovations which especially regard research on the construction techniques.

As a natural evolution of this philosophy, recently two new lines have been developed, which are intended to face the rapid changes in the contemporary style: the Novecento style, which was inspired by the essential lines and rationalistic principles of the twentieth century and the Zero collection, as a result of formal research with which the company enters the fi eld of creative design and of applied art in furniture.

Morelato confi rms its own history but at the same time opens up to the challenges of contemporary design although the powers of tradition, as well as the inspiration, coming from the values of taste, quality and prestige, are never forgotten.
